Pharmacy Burglary Suspects Reportedly Lead Police on Pursuit in Stolen Vehicle; One Arrested

BEVERLY HILLS, CA  –  Police are reportedly investigating the burglary of a pharmacy in Beverly Hills.

According to a press release, Beverly Hills police received a report early on the morning of Wednesday, August 14, regarding an alleged burglary at a pharmacy on the 9700 block of Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills.

Responding officers arrived on the scene within a minute, and the suspects reportedly fled in a stolen Dodge Durango Hellcat.

Police pursued the suspects but soon lost sight of them and requested aerial support from the Los Angeles Police Department. Authorities located the suspects traveling on the eastbound Highway 10 at high speed without lights.

The pursuit continued into downtown Los Angeles, where the suspects exited near LA Live and were tracked to the 1700 block of East Imperial Boulevard in Watts.

Upon reaching the area of Imperial Highway and 115th Street, four to five suspects fled on foot, police said.

After establishing a perimeter, police arrested one suspect and impounded the stolen vehicle. Police identified the suspect as Sergio Giobanni Estrada Ochoa, 18, of Los Angeles.

The investigation is active and ongoing.
