North Sacramento, CA — Sacramento County Sheriff’s North Patrol deputies recently made an arrest in relation to a stabbing incident.
The event in question occurred just after 7 a.m. Aug. 23 on Stagecoach Drive in North Sacramento County. They were responding to a call to a residence on that street.
“Deputies arrived on scene and contacted the victim, an adult male, who was suffering from non-life-threatening lacerations to his shoulder,” according to a statement released by the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department. “He was subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment.”
Deputies learned the victim had been assaulted by his brother, later identified as 29-year-old Christiane Gonzalez, who was detained at the scene without incident. Gonzalez was arrested and transported to the Sacramento County Main Jail, where he remains ineligible for bail. He was scheduled to appear in court on August 27.
