FORESTVILLE, CA – Deputies in Sonoma County recently arrested a man in connection with seven felony warrants.
According to a press release by the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy on patrol made contact Matthew Mulholland, 40, of Forestville, along the 300 block of Southwest Boulevard.
Aware that Mulholland had multiple warrants for his arrest, the deputy attempted to speak with Mulholland, who allegedly walked away.
When the deputy tried to place him in handcuffs, Mulholland allegedly resisted by pulling away and concealing his hands. A second deputy arrived, and the two took him into custody after a brief struggle.
Deputies reportedly discovered approximately 7 grams of methamphetamine and a glass pipe in Mulholland’s clothing. He was booked on suspicion of resisting arrest, drug possession, and possession of drug paraphernalia, along with seven felony warrants from prior cases involving the Sebastopol and Healdsburg police departments and the Sheriff’s Office.
Mulholland is being held without bail, as six of the seven warrants are no-bail, police said.
