Madera Police Reportedly Locate Unregistered Weapons & Drugs During Arrests

MADERA, CA  —  Police in Madera have reportedly arrested a man for the alleged possession of hallucinogenic mushrooms for sale and a firearm.

According to a press release by the Madera Police Department, officers arrested Jose Lorenzo, 20, on suspicion of possessing hallucinogenic mushrooms for sale and for the alleged possession of a firearm not registered to him.

Officers reportedly also arrested Andrew Mendoza, 18, for the illegal possession of cannabis vapes for sale, along with possession of an unregistered handgun.

Both individuals were booked at the Madera County jail.
