Milpitas: Motorist Pulled Over for Traffic Violations Found to Have Felony Warrant

Milpitas police arrested an individual on an outstanding felony warrant after pulling him over for alleged driving violations.
In a press release, the Milpitas Police Department detailed an arrest that took place during the overnight hours of Friday, Nov. 8.
According to police, an officer stopped the driver for traffic violations, but discovered he had a $150,000 felony warrant for his arrest on suspicion of drug sales, child endangerment, and weapons violations.
The officer reportedly also found cannabis, prescription medication, and loose cash in the vehicle.
The driver was arrested and booked on the warrant, as well as new charge of possession of cannabis and prescribed medication with intent to sell.
A passenger in the vehicle was also cited on drug-related charges, police said.
