Suspect Arrested for Robbery and Elder Abuse in Plymouth Incident

PLYMOUTH, CA — “On November 13th, at approximately 3:30pm, the Sheriff’s Office received a call of a reported robbery in the unincorporated area of Plymouth.
The victim, an elderly female, reported her adult son forcibly took her purse and car keys and left the residence in her vehicle. Prior to deputies arriving at the residence, the suspect returned the vehicle and fled on foot.
The suspect was discovered to have an active felony warrant for his arrest out of Sacramento County for Auto Theft.
A search of the area was conducted and the suspect was ultimately located in a field, approximately one mile from the residence. The suspect was later booked into the Amador County Jail on multiple fresh charges to include Robbery and Elder Abuse along with the warrant.
The victim was not injured in this incident.”
