Yolo County Detectives Recover Stolen Property and Arrest Suspect in Sacramento

“Last week, Yolo County Sheriff Detectives served a search and arrest warrant on the 400 block of Buckley Avenue in North Sacramento. The warrants were related to a theft that occurred in the unincorporated area of Yolo County. During the theft, over $4,000 worth of power tools, furniture, and a BBQ were stolen. Sheriff detectives identified the suspect as 28-year-old Sacramento resident David Makela. During the warrant service, Makela was arrested without incident. Detectives were able to locate and recover all of the stolen items at Makela’s residence. He was transported, booked, and housed at the Yolo County Jail, and all of the stolen items were returned to the original victim.”
