Felon Back In Jail After Being Caught With Guns and Driving High

“A Watsonville gang member and convicted felon made his way back to county jail after Officers found him with multiple guns, all while driving high.
An Officer was patrolling the area of Tuttle Ave and East Lake Avenue Saturday night when he was flagged down by a concerned motorist regarding a truck that had been stopped at a traffic light for an unusually long time. Inside was 32-year-old Samuel Duran, a known gang member and convicted felon, asleep at the wheel with the vehicle still in drive.
Duran failed field sobriety tests, and Officers determined he was under the influence of drugs. Inside the truck, three firearms were found, including high-capacity magazines and other illegal modifications.
The suspect faces several charges, including DUI, felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of high-capacity magazines.
