“A little before 10:00pm last night, a traffic stop on Dorsey Dr led to the discovery and seizure of a significant amount of drugs destined for the streets in our area.

During the search, Officers located:
-more than 1500 fentanyl laced pills
-almost 1lb of cocaine
-one loaded hand gun
-almost $1000 cash
-various drug-sales packaging

Kevin Saso (37) of Nevada County & Daniel Foley (38) of Butte County, were arrested at the scene and now face a long list of charges. Both remain in custody on $100k bond. Saso is also on Nevada County probation for a previous drug sales case.

This is great police work from our nightshift crew 👏🏼! All of Western Nevada County is safer today because of your work.

Special thanks to Placer County Sheriff’s Office who drove up and let us use a very high-tech piece of testing equipment which allowed our officers to identify the chemical makeup of these drugs.”
