Fresno Detectives Call on Public for Leads in Fatal Shooting Investigation
FRESNO, CA – Police in Fresno are calling on the public for leads in connection with the fatal shooting of a 31-year-old man earlier this week.
According to police, officers responded on the afternoon of Wednesday, Dec. 11, to a report of a shooting victim on East Sampson Avenue. At the scene, officers found Markazsa Perry, who had suffered a gunshot wound.
Perry was taken to an area medical center, but was ultimately pronounced deceased, police said.
Detectives have been canvassing the area for witnesses and reviewing surveillance footage, and ask that anyone with information relevant to the investigation reach out.
