Two Arrested in Connection with Fatal Shooting in Anaheim

ANAHEIM, CA  —  Investigators with the Anaheim Police Department have reportedly arrested two individuals in connection with a fatal shooting on Margie Lane last weekend.

According to a press release by the Anaheim Police Department, officers responded on the night of Sunday, Dec. 8, to a report of a shooting on the 2000 block of S. Margie Lane. At the scene, officers located an unresponsive adult male inside a vehicle.

Police identified the man as Kenneth Wayne Swets, 25. Swets was reportedly pronounced deceased at the scene.

Homicide detectives identified two individuals as suspects in the case. On Wednesday, Dec. 11, authorities arrested Rashaadd Eugene Royal, 41, and Jennifer Camacho Mandap, 51, in connection with Swets’ death.

Officials stated that Royal was known to the victim. Investigators confirmed that no other suspects are being sought.

Details regarding the circumstances of the incident remain undisclosed as the investigation continues.
