Siskiyou County Deputies Find 25 Pounds of Methamphetamine During Traffic Stop

Siskiyou County authorities arrested two people from Los Angeles County after allegedly discovering a large quantity of methamphetamine in their vehicle during a traffic stop.
According to a department media release, a sergeant stopped a sedan traveling on northbound Interstate 5 on Thursday, Dec. 5, for vehicle code violations. Authorities identified the driver as Guillermo A. Ayala, 28, and the passenger as Yesith Leonardo Chriez Bueno, 24, both of whom allegedly did not have valid driver’s licenses.
On probable cause, the sergeant conducted a search of the vehicle and discovered over 25 pounds of suspected methamphetamine in the trunk.
Ayala and Bueno were arrested on suspicion of transportation and possession of methamphetamine for sale, authorities said.
