Arcadia police have reportedly arrested an individual for the alleged possession of child sexual abuse material.
According to a press release, Arcadia police were contacted by an individual who claimed to have received “suspicious messages” through social media in which an unknown person was allegedly asking about juvenile girls and sending videos of themselves committing sexual acts.
The reporting party provided the messages and photos to police.
Investigators later identified an individual from Pasadena as a suspect in connection with this investigation, and ultimately carried out a search warrant at the individual’s home.
During this search, investigators allegedly found “numerous” videos and images of underage girls engaging in sexual activity.
Based on this discovery, authorities obtained an arrest warrant for the individual in question, identified as 38-year-old Justin Yasutake.
Yasutake was arrested on suspicion of the possession of child sexual abuse material.
Authorities reportedly believe that Yasutake, a teacher and soccer coach for juvenile girls for over 20 years, may have other victims who have yet to come forward.
The Arcadia Police Department has encouraged anyone who has had contact with Yasutake and may have information relevant to the case to contact the detective bureau at 626-574-5188. The case number is 2404863.
