“On 01/04/2025, at approximately 1:40 AM, a vigilant Redwood City officer patrolling near El Camino Real and Renato Court conducted a traffic stop on a Chevrolet Impala for a vehicle code violation.

During the stop, a controlled substance was spotted in plain view on the center console. Further investigation revealed the driver was illegally carrying a loaded Smith and Wesson 40mm handgun in his waistband. The driver was determined to be a 25-year-old male from Emeryville. He was promptly arrested, and the firearm was seized for evidence.”
