Sutter County Deputies Arrest Armed Suspect on Multiple Charges
“MEDIA RELEASE:
On Sunday, 1/12/25, Sutter County Deputies responded to a 911 call in the area of the 4000 block of Butte House Road for an armed subject trying to make entry into the residence. Once on scene, deputies contacted 64-year-old Liness Kelley from Marysville.
Deputies located a firearm on the ground next to Kelley, along with 17.77 grams of fentanyl on his person.
Kelley was taken into custody without incident and was booked into the Sutter County Jail for possession of a firearm, felon in possession of ammunition, numerous narcotic charges and attempted murder from a shooting incident that occurred days prior, at the same residence.
