Yuba City drug trafficker sentenced to 17.5 years in prison
SACRAMENTO — A methamphetamine and cocaine trafficker who plagued the Sutter County area for more than six months was sentenced Tuesday to more than 17 years in federal prison.
Patrick Boykin, 33, spent the months between September 2006 and March 2007 distributing approximately 382 grams of methamphetamine and approximately 106 grams of cocaine with his brother, Boykin admitted to federal prosecutors. The Yuba City resident pled guilty to conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine and cocaine in July.
U.S. District Judge William B. Shubb also determined Boykin had possessed firearms during the course of the conspiracy and sentenced him to 210 months in federal prison.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation and Sutter County’s NET-5 drug task force collaborated on the joint investigation.
