Rapper ‘Too Short’ Arrested in Hollywood for Alleged Drug Possession, DUI

Rapper “Too Short” was arrested Wednesday in Hollywood on suspicion of drug possession and driving while impaired, authorities said.

The 48-year-old man, whose real name is Todd Anthony Shaw, was taken into custody near Hollywood Boulevard and Las Palmas Avenue shortly after 3 a.m., said Los Angeles police Officer Bruce Borihanh of the Media Relations office. The rapper tried to run from police before he was arrested, the Los Angeles Times reported.
