LOS ANGELES – It’s a story we see all too often – a trusted teacher or coach accused of an inappropriate sexual relationship with one or more of their underage charges.
This time it involves a volleyball coach at Esteban Torres High school in East L.A. 23-year-old Jonathan Adam Roldan was arrested at his home on Friday after a 15-year-old student reported that she and Roldan had been having a sexual relationship since October.
The alleged incidents occurred in his pickup truck. Nothing is alleged to have occurred at the school. However, further investigation revealed a second 15-year-old victim allegedly touched inappropriately by Roldan.
Roldan worked at the school since 2011 and is currently being held on $1,000,000 bail.
