The Paso Robles Police arrested a man for allegedly beating another with a baseball bat last Sunday.
According to police, the incident was first reported around 3:30 p.m.. Police received a report of a fight in progress in the 600 block of Creston Road.
Officers were unable to locate any fight or suspects. However, an adult female told them her husband had been beaten up by two men. Her husband refused to speak with officers.
At 5:50 p.m., PRPD received multiple calls regarding a fight involving a large number of subjects armed with baseball bats and tasers in the 500 block of Ferro Lane.
When officers arrived, the subjects dispersed, but neighbors identified two residents that were involved in the incident.
After further investigation, officers were able to locate the victim of the earlier reported fight on Creston Road. The victim was a 22-year-old Paso Robles resident who sustained injuries to his head and body. He was transported to a local hospital by family members for treatment of his injuries.
Police identified two suspects. They were able to locate one suspect, Daniel Miranda, 20.
Miranda was arrested without incident and was booked into the SLO County Jail for one count of felony battery.
24-year-old Eric Gonzalez of Paso Robles was later arrested on one felony count of assault with a deadly weapon in connection with this incident.
