HAWTHORNE, CA—She’s ringing up a laundry list of warrants, nearly all of which are for failure to appear for failing to appear after she initially failed to appear.
Tanya A. King, 33, was apprehended by Hawthorne Police Department officers on Tuesday, May 27 at approximately 7:30 a.m. along the block of 4500 West 120th Street. It was unknown if the self-proclaimed cashier was stopped for a separate charge or if police served a warrant at her Los Angeles residence along the 1400 block of 101st Street.
The 5-foot-tall, 100-lb. woman has failed to appear a number of times. It is believed that two additional warrants for petty theft may have been why she was supposed to appear.
Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department (LASD) had four “failure to appear” warrants for her, Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) had two warrants (one was failure to appear; the other was a petty theft) and Inglewood Police department (IPD) had one petty theft charge.
Total bail was set at $16,561.
