OILDALE — A convicted Oildale felon is behind bars again after being arrested for selling methamphetamine on Tuesday.
Kelly Sheehan was booked into the Kern County Sheriff’s Central Receiving Facility on several charges, including possession of a controlled substance for sales, possession of a controlled substance, possession of narcotics paraphernalia, maintaining a drug house and felon in possession of ammunition.
According to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, Sheehan was taken into custody after deputies from the Kern Narcotics Enforcement Team (KNET) conducted a probation search in the 300 block of Belmont Street in Oildale on June 3. Deputies said that during their search of the residence, they located approximately one-quarter of a pound of suspected methamphetamine and items consistent with the sales of controlled substances.
Sheehan was taken into custody without incident.
