Moments after receiving a call about a fight at a local 7-Eleven convenience store on June 30 at 1:00 a.m. in Pomona, the victim, who was involved in the fight, was taken to the emergency room at the Pomona Valley Medical Center.
According to the Pomona PD, the victim, Gabriel Chavez, reportedly had stabbing wounds, claiming that he had received those wounds at the Grand Avenue convenience store, which was where the fight was reported.
The three main stabbing suspects – Art Gonzales, 23, Anthony Gonzales, 25, and Dallanna Echevierria, 21 – were all arrested and taken into custody for assault with a deadly weapon. All three suspects are residents of Pomona. Art and Anthony Gonzales are likely to be brothers or cousins, and the relation with Dallanna could not be determined.
