The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department has reportedly made the last arrest in a shooting at a hookah lounge back on July 13 that left a 20-year-old man dead, according to an official press release.
Salvador Ramon Martinez, 19, was reportedly arrested and Sacramento Sheriff’s detectives anticipate this to be the final arrest in the case. Martinez was reportedly a close friend of the shooting victim Tyrell Hall, 20, and was reportedly standing near Hall during the incident when the gunfight began. Homicide detectives reportedly believe Martinez is responsible for Hall’s death due to the fact that he initiated the gunfight that resulted in Hall being shot and killed.
Detectives had previously arrested four other individuals, which United Reporting had previously reported on. On July 16, 2014, we had reported on the shooting, at which time two suspects — Frank Jackson, 19, and Tana Dania, 23 — had reportedly been arrested on Monday, July 14, on suspicion of homicide. Then on Thursday, July 17, 2014 we reported a third suspect, James Wallace, 28, had been arrested that day on a charge of attempted murder. And on August 29, 2014, we reported another suspect — Frederick Lamont Davis, 28 — had been arrested for an assault with a deadly weapon charge, and Sac Sheriff was asking the public’s assistance in identifying their final suspect.
