Investigation Sends Two to Jail for Guns, Drugs, Stolen Property
Authorities were Investigating Home for Drug Sales
HOLLISTER—Authorities arrested two Hollister residents after a search warrant produced guns, drugs and stolen property. Arrested were 50-year-old Hollister resident Ramon Larios Lucatero, who was also identified in arrest reports as Raymond Al Larios Sr. with an address in San Diego, and 34-year-old Tony Jose Antonio Campa.
On February 5, Hollister Police served a search warrant as part of an investigation into a home on the 200 block of Westside Boulevard for allegedly selling narcotics. The Hollister Police Department was assisted in the execution of the warrant by the Unified Narcotic Enforcement Team and the San Benito County Sheriff’s Office.
During the search police recovered methamphetamine, marijuana, and a stolen handgun. Police also recovered a large amount of money and stolen property from the home.
Larios/Lucatero, the owner of the house, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance while armed, possession of a controlled substance for sale, transportation of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana for sale, being a felon in possession of a firearm and keeping a place for the use of sales of a controlled substance.
The second suspect, Campa, was arrested outside the house for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police have referred the potential charge of visiting a place where a controlled substance was being used and/or sold to the San Benito County District Attorney’s Office.
Both suspects were transported and booked into the San Benito County Jail. They were later released on bail.
