BAKERSFIELD — A 29-year-old Bakersfield man under the influence of drugs and alcohol is behind bars after attempting to get on a school bus full of children on Friday morning.
Ian Hollis was booked into the Sheriff’s Office Central Receiving Facility for child endangerment, vandalism and unlawful entry to a school bus.
According to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place at about 7 a.m. on Friday, September 25, when deputies responded to a call from the Beardsley School District, stating that an unknown male subject was trying to enter the bus near the 300 block of Beardsley Avenue.
