Madera burglar arrested

An arrest for several felony charges was made Saturday, November 21 in Madera. According to the official media report released by the Madera County Department of Corrections, Tony Duca Baguma, 27, was apprehended on one count of burglary, one count of malicious mischief/vandalism, possession of stolen property, and parole violations. He was caught by Madera Police at or near the Moya Salvadoran & Mexican Grill on East Yosemite Avenue. He resides at a home less than a mile a way, near Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School.

According to the Department of Corrections, Baguma is unemployed. He had been arrested in March of this year on a parole violation. In 2012 he faced charges of residential burglary, possession of stolen property, and a controlled substance. He had also been arrested back in 2008 on drug related charges, and again in 2009 for violating probation from an earlier unlawful driving offense.

He was held at Madera County jail with bail set at $35,000 pending his next appearance in court.
