Mark Salling, known for playing the role of Noah “Puck” Puckerman on Fox TV’s Glee for all of its 6 seasons, was arrested on Tuesday December 29 around 7 am for possession of child pornography. The LAPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force obtained and served the warrant at Salling’s home on Helen Avenue in Sunland.
The discovery of “hundreds of images” came as a result of a search of Salling’s home. A TMZ source reported that police were tipped off to the cache of porn by Sallings’s ex-girlfriend.
The LAPD arrested Salling for violating crime code 311.11(A), which includes “possessing or controlling any matter….that depicts a person or persons under 18 years of age personally engaging in or simulating sexual conduct.”
The 33-year-old actor had earlier this year paid out $2.7 million to a former girlfriend in a sexual battery lawsuit.
