The Paso Robles Police arrested a man on Wednesday for allegedly dealing drugs out of a local motel.
According to PRPD, they received several complaints regarding possible drug sales out of room #5 of the Wine Country Inn, located at 3548 Spring Street.
PRPD detectives initiated an investigation and with assistance from Atascadero Police detectives arrested Paul Vernon Alley, 48, of Grover Beach.
After the arrest, detectives recovered 16 grams of black tar heroin, six grams of methamphetamine, $4,200 in cash, scales and drug packaging material.
Alley was transported and booked at the San Luis Obispo County Jail. He was charged with felony possession of controlled substance for the heroin for sale, felony possession of controlled substance for the methamphetamine for sale and a misdemeanor possession of narcotic paraphernalia.
His bail is set at $25,500.
