Colusa County Task Force Arrests 6 After Search Warrant Investigations

COLUSA COUNTY — On February 2nd, the Colusa County Task Force coordinated with local law enforcement to carry out five search warrants which led to five arrests.
Arrested were Joel Villaneuva (26), Travis Weatherly (26), Samantha Allred (19), Vanessa Saavedra (36), and Saul Carmona (34).
The searches turned up items such as meth, paraphernalia, and other items suggesting the sale of controlled substances. Five children were also turned over to Child Protective Services after authorities opened cases concerning children whose health may have been threatened by exposure to narcotics.
Task Force agents subsequently made contact with 22-year-old Jose Orduna of Colusa, who’d been observed driving in the wrong direction on an I-5 off-ramp in Arbuckle. Agents found anabolic steroids and paraphernalia, which led to Orduna’s arrest.
