BERKELEY – Three men identified as being homeless were arrested Saturday on various criminal charges, after they fled from the Downtown Berkeley Inn at 2001 Bancroft Way.
Police responded to a report of an interrupted burglary at the hotel on February 4 shortly before 3 p.m. Three suspects allegedly entered an unoccupied room by climbing through a ground floor window; then ran away when confronted by a hotel employee.
Two suspects were located near 2020 Kitteridge Street, where police arrested them. A third suspect who ran into a nearby garage was also taken into custody. All three were scheduled for arraignment on February 7.
Marcos Rohlik, 24, is charged with use of deadly weapon, second degree robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, and first degree residential burglary. Rohlik is in custody at Berkeley Jail for $50,000 bail.
Eddie Collins, 27, faces charges for second degree robbery, possession of drug paraphernalia, and several grand theft charges. He’s being held at Berkeley Jail for $52,500 bail.
Indigo S. Nadler, 23, is charged with amphetamine possession, first degree residential burglary, and obstructing an officer. His bail for release from Berkeley Jail is $65,000.
