San Quentin State Prison, one possible residence for Alcantar
LOS ANGELES — Nearly five years ago, 21-year-old Christian Bojorquez was lured to Lake Los Angeles by Rosie Lisa Morales (then 17), where he was met by 26-year-old Rudolfo Alcantar.
Morales and Alcnatar proceeded to beat and shoot Borjorquez, carjack his vehicle, and leave him for dead in the vehicle at 180th East Street and Avenue M. He died nine days later.
Morales set fire to the vehicle two days after the incident.
Alcantar, now 31, received life in state prison without the possibility of parole for his guilty charge of second degree murder and arson of property.
Morales, now 22, will spend the next 48 years to life in prison for the same crimes.
Apparently, Borjorquez was considered a snitch for talking to police a year before his attack, in this gang-related crime.
