MERCED // On November 15th, police arrived at the Kohl’s Department Store on Olive Avenue after being alerted to a theft.
The suspect — described as a white male adult, standing around 5’9″ with brown hair, blue eyes, and weighing around 175 pounds — had apparently stolen over $1,000 of merchandise. When a Loss Prevention employee tried to stop him, the suspect pepper-sprayed and assaulted the employee in retaliation.
He was then seen getting into a red Honda and fleeing.
