SANTA ROSA // A man in Sonoma County is in trouble after being caught with cocaine during what was otherwise going to be a routine traffic stop.
On November 27th just after 11 PM, a Sonoma County Sheriff’s Deputy stopped a Nissan Altima in the Old Redwood Highway Area after noticing the driver failing to stay in his lane. Suspecting that he might be intoxicated, the deputy pulled him over.
The suspect in question — later identified as 26-year-old Michael Reynoso of Redondo Beach — didn’t have his ID. When his car was searched, 11 baggies of cocaine were found, each one weighing about one gram.
Reynoso was arrested on charges of misdemeanor possession of cocaine and driving on a suspended license. He is housed at the Sonoma County Jail on $2,500 bond.
