Escaped inmate in San Joaquin County didn’t get the memo about blending in

SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY // Police are looking for an escaped inmate with a distinct facial feature after discovering he was missing from his work duty on November 27th.
At around 1:30 PM, Sheriff’s Dispatch was notified by the work crew driver that 27-year-old Corey Hughes had gone AWOL, last seen “in the area of I-5 and Country Club.”
Hughes was in custody on a weapons charge at Honor Farm, with a release date set for February 6th — just over two months from now.
Special Teams are working to find Hughes and ask that anyone who recognizes him to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 209-468-4400.
