KINGSBURG — On Wednesday afternoon, the KPD was called to the CVS Pharmacy at 929 Sierra Street where a male suspect had left without paying for items from the store.
Although the suspect was not on site when officers arrived, an alert witness alerted the police as to his whereabouts. Before long, 26-year-old Selma resident Kevin Saldivar was arrested for possession of paraphernalia, violation of a protective order, and receiving stolen property.
The KPD has arrested Saldivar six times since December 2017. Charges in the past also included battery, theft of property, and taking packages off of porches.
