SAN JOSE – The SJPD arrested two suspects in the killing of a San Jose resident on Thanksgiving Day. In January the SJPD’s Homicide Unit began investigating the suspicious disappearance of Billy Ray Scott, AKA “Tank.”
Investigators developed information that Scott was possibly killed on Thanksgiving Day, November 23, and that his disappearance was no coincidence.
Information given to authorities led them to a ravine in Unincorporated Santa Clara County, where they found Scott’s body. Then investigators took forensic evidence from an apartment located on the 1500 block of Moorpark Avenue in San Jose.
They believe 44-year-old Eugene Frazier, and 44-year-old Renee Nicole Wilson killed Scott in the apartment.
Consequently, Investigators arrested Renee Wilson in Los Banos on July 24, 2018, after forensic evidence connected her to the murder.
Therefore, Wilson’s charge is Accessory to Murder – Penal Code 32. Law enforcement also obtained a warrant for Murder – 187 PC for Frazier. He is currently in custody in Monterey County for an unrelated offense.
