VACAVILLE – A Vacaville man with 9 outstanding warrants finally met law enforcement on Thursday August 2.
In the first place, someone stole security cameras from a chiropractic office. The Four Ring security cameras pilfered had a total value of $1,200.
However, surveillance footage captured the thief before and leading up to his crime. The suspect wore a motorcycle helmet in an effort to conceal his identity. It did not cover his face entirely. Even more so, it did not cover distinctive tattoos.
Investigators matched what little information they had to a known suspect. 29-year-old Tyler Riggleman already had 9 (nine) outstanding warrants for his arrest. These warrants regarded theft, narcotics and stolen property.
The next day law enforcement initiated a traffic stop on Riggleman. They arrested him for charges of grand theft and committing a felony while out on bail.
VPD credits the “excellent footage” that helped identify and arrest the suspect.
