The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department reported the discovery of a body in a suspicious death investigation –
“At approximately 10 a.m. on January 22, 2020, the Sheriff’s Communication Center received information regarding a body found on a dairy farm in the 9900 block of Arno Road in a rural area of South Sacramento. A dairy worker, who was working on moving manure to an open field area, discovered the body.
Deputies arrived and located a deceased male in an area of the farm that is used to store manure and waste. Due to the condition of the body, no other details are known at the time.
Homicide detectives are currently on scene.
The identity of the deceased male in this case will be released by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office after identification and notification of next of kin.
