Rocklin Burglary Suspect Shot by Police

ROCKLIN — On February 25th just after 10 AM, Rocklin PD officers responded to the 4900 block of Bradford Place after reports of a residential burglary.

The reporting party told police that a male subject had been trying to break into the house. Once inside, the suspect was confronted by an armed resident and chased outside, where he was confronted by three Rocklin PD officers.

According to a press release, the suspect was apparently armed. He was shot by at least one officer and later pronounced dead.

The suspect’s identity is being withheld pending the notification of next of kin.
