Electronic Benefit Card and ID Theft Arrest in Placer County

“On April 1st, deputies were notified of a subject attempting to commit fraud at the Wells Fargo in North Auburn. By the time they arrived on the scene, the suspect had left.

A short time later, they were notified that the same suspect was conducting fraudulent activity at the Bank of America in North Auburn. The deputies arrived at Bank of America and contacted 39-year-old Bogdan Drapac of Long Beach.

During the contact, the deputies located 17 fraudulent EBT cards and 29 gift cards believed to contain personal identifying information of additional victims.

The suspect was arrested and booked for multiple counts of fraud.”
